Catherine Taelman - Aberdovey, Wales, 2014
I attended the Classic Course in Aberdovey and it was a wonderful expercience with lots of great adventures and challenges. I had an amazing team with people coming from lots of different countries. Everyone was always very supportive and caring for each other and that's why I liked my team so much.
My favourite part of the course was the final expedition. We had been training and preparing for this four-day expedition during the whole course and it was very rewarding to see how much we had learned and how independent we had become as a team. Our instructor wasn't there anymore to help us, but we managed just fine. We walked through big conifer forests and wide fields with sheep, we enjoyed the sunset at our campsite on top of a hill, we swam in a lake under the late afternoon sun, we canoed on a river, ... All these beautiful memories will last with me forever and that's why I want to say a huge thank you to Outward Bound!
