Protecting outdoor learning in Scotland

We're passionate about the role that outdoor learning, education and adventure can play for young people in Scotland.

The wilderness environments in Scotland are the perfect landscape for young people to learn about themselves. And we're determined to protect their ability to access this for future generations. If you'd like to support us please get in touch or make a donation.

Here's the latest from Outward Bound Scotland.

90% of young people who come to Outward Bound in Scotland need financial help to make it possible.

Many come from deprived inner-cities such as Glasgow, Dundee and Aberdeen where opportunities to experience the outdoors are severely limited. Others come from rural communities with challenges around social isolation and employability. This report looks at the outcomes and benefits they experience after being on an Outward Bound programme.
