David Cumming - Loch Eil, Scottish Highlands, 1987
I was attending Loch Eil as part of my YOUTH TRAINING SCHEME. Our course leader for the week was called Duncan and our group were can Tenzing after Sir Edmund Hillary Sherpa. Our first activity was trust - falling backwards off a wall onto the group. I had a instant like to Duncan, he was confident where I wasn't. I grew in confidence over the week as we did activities I had never done before but would again as part of my job down south. I loved the 24 hour expedition at the end of the week camping in Glen Nevis and everything we did with it even if we did get soaking wet, it was the best time of my life 33 years ago! I still remember it with great fondness. Especially climbing Boy George!
