The job

You'll work alongside our group trainers “out there” on programme. Supporting their development and enhancing the impact of our programmes. If your preference is hiding in an office writing policy documents - skip this ad! You don’t need to have all the answers, but you do need to be comfortable asking the right questions.

You’ll line manage a team of group trainers, and your leadership will enable them to flourish and become better versions of themselves. This will involve a combination of developing a coaching and mentoring relationship which supports longer term development, as well as sharing ideas and adding value to their everyday work, in both technical and learning and development contexts.

What's involved

Learning & Adventure Managers, work with staff through all stages of the training cycle. Supporting learning needs analysis conversations with clients, writing learning objectives, designing programmes, working alongside trainers during delivery, and evaluating the impact of programmes.

It's a senior role within our Eskdale Centre, with an opportunity to lead, influence and develop a team of professional outdoor educators. You will require a belief in the abilities of others, a thoughtful yet inspiring work ethic and the experience to set high standards through your leadership practice.
